Hello Everyone, We need your help. Here is our concern. My husband is currently working in a company that provides salary that meets the annual financial requirement of 18600 pounds for almost 8 months already. Due to confusion on the P60 requirement and salary requirement, we decided to lodge in our fiance application once he is able to complete 12 months in his current company by submitting 12 months payslip equivalent to at least a P60 which will take place by November. However, a new company with higher pay has offered him a job. If he accepts the job offer and will start by August, can we still submit our fiance visa by November? That means we will be presenting 2 months payslip from the previous company and 4 months payslip from the new company. Will this be ok with the embassy or we need to submit latest least 6 months payslip from the new company (that is if he takes the newjob). Hope to hear your thoughts the soonest as will be contacted by the new employer again anytime soon regarding the start day of the job. Thanks a lot. Dennie
My understanding is that it is 6 months payslips from any company. A letter from the employer would be required also. P60s are only issued in April each year.
#Johnash, so we can send 3 payslips from previous company and another set of payslip from the new company? We was told once in an agency in UK working on visa application that applications are best approved when presented payslips are from the current employer. Is there any truth about it? We would like to know for certain as we dont want to move into a new company if our fiance application would be affected.
I dont think that you are the first to be in this position. Others like you have just gone ahead and presented a combined range of payslips. People do change jobs. The main thing is to have evidence from both jobs. It doubles your workload a bit when gathering evidence, but thats all really. What does @Timmers think?
Also assuming the payslips have no gaps when moving from one employment to the other would be advisable
It is better of course to submit six months payslips from a single employer but submitting payslips from two employers is fine, I read on one of the forms a while back, I will get back later and post the form if I can find it. As HaloHalo states, there needs to be continuity and the complete six months needs to be shown. Make sure that six months bank statements are submitted along with a letter from each of the two employers stating how long he has worked for the company, position temp/permanent, salary paid and for how long he has been paid that salary for. With all that information there can be no grey area as far as the UKVI are concerned. At the end of the day checks can be made by the UKVI using the NI number provided at submission. After all, many people applying for visas are changing their jobs for one reason or another all the time.
Exactly, as we have seen many times on the forum, many people have to seek alternative employment to enable them to get over the £18,600 threshold, quite romantic really
@JohnAsh, Im surprised that I am not the only applicant who is undergoing the same thing. Me and hubby has been worrying about this matter. We have thought for a while that the payslips needs be just from one company only. Oh gesh a bit of relief though.
@Timmers, thank you fo much for this information! This is a sigh of relief for me and hubby as we are so worried and in doubt if we should be moving in a new company with much higher pay even though he is already earning more than what the application requires. Would it be possible to send the link you are referring? Thanks a bunch!
@Timmers, every one who is eyeing to apply for that visa will have to work on the financial matters above anything thats needed for the application.
I will try and find the information tomorrow, I think it is mentioned on the financial application form notes.
Read 5.3 of attached directorate, see what you think, I just perused it and I'm not clear, I will look at it again tomorrow, like most Government information documents, it is not 100% clear.
