    Hi everyone,
My Filipino fiancee will arrive in the UK mid-February.
We are planning to marry in May, but does the marriage have to take place in the UK?
What are the implications if we want to marry in another EU country?
    Many thanks.

The visa was granted on the basis of marriage/settlement in the UK, why complicate matters?

If you want to mess around getting visas for the loved one I would wait until after you have tied the knot, just my opinion :)

Don't think you can. I believe there would be three problems. The first is that the schengen visa for entry to the European union applies only to the spouse of a British national and the second is that the marriage needs to be registered in a very specific way in specific British offices - plus as pointed out the visa was granted to allow you to marry in Britain so I think you would be mad to try it

She will love getting married in the UK, no European travel not required :)

If you don't have firm intentions to marry in UK then it may be better to apply for a Visit Visa
The Standard Visit Visa is normally issued as 6 months multiple entry.
Given that you're considering a wedding in EU your partner should ideally apply well in advance for a Schengen Visa from Philippines as she'll not be eligible to apply for one from the UK with a visa validity of 6 months or less. Whether or not it would get granted is subject to similar assessments to the UK visit visa.

I can't remember now whether the Marriage Visa is issued with multiple entry. I seem to recall not as it's a special reason to enter UK but I may be out of date.
Could be worth checking with UKVI

Get all your ducks lined up before finalising
You'll need plenty of confirmations and intentions for the marriage visa
