Hello everyone,! I have several questions that still bothers me and I need someone or something to assure me please. I have submitted/uploaded all the necessary docs needed for the flr/m and had the appointmnt for biometrics on Oct.5, 2019. However I haven't recieved anything from ukvi or home office if they have my docs already and working on it. My brp expires on Oct 26, 2019. I had a standard application. So here are my questions just in case I get the extended visa after the Oct 26.: 1. I can still stay here legally right since I submitted the application before the end date of my visa? 2. Can I still work? (I have mention this situation to my employer and thy didn't seem to bother, he just said to let him know as soon as I heard from ukvi, looks like he still willing to employ me even if technically my work permit ends on oct.26) These are what worries me, maybe if I still work without the permit it will affect my application in the future of something. I'm sorry about this, if it has been asked or explained before. I tried to find this in the furom but I'm being unlucky. Thank you in advance!
Put any concerns you have out of your mind you have applied in time and your immigration status remain the same exactly the same. You can live and work as you are. To stress the point your immigration status remains the same
At my wife's work (The NHS) all they wanted to know was the application or reference number to check, if they need too - with the Home office. She then is allowed to continue working as normal. Also we submitted our Standard Application in mid September and did a Premium UKVCAS appointment for the documents - We've still not heard anything back either! (They said at the appointment that we would receive at least an email, nothing yet)
My employer didn't even ask me for anything, just an update if I recieve something. Thank you for letting me know that it's not only me who is having this issue . The UKVCAS also just mention that home office will email,but still no update.. Maybe it's the time of the year where there are lot of applicants. Best of luck to ur wife and thanks again.
I know a lot of people who applied and didn’t hear anything from UKVI until they have the decision so that is normal so there’s nothing to be worried about.
Well if anyone else to ever read this in the future.. We got the BRP yesterday. That was literally the first time we heard from them since we submitted the application. Totally in the dark until we were granted. So indeed, don't fret.

So yeah you are all correct., they don't update us for anything. So just really need to be patient and wait for the results. Thanks again everyone for the help!!
