a point to remember--with your first FLR application after your fiancee visa-----you have to get your BRP if you want to start a job. so it might be worth paying the extra for same day service in person if you want to work sooner.
Thank you very much big mac! I worked and lived in cardiff before so job is on reserved. As soon flr (m) / brp visa is sorted, i will immeditely proceed working. thanks you for all your help.
in our case my wife was keen to get earning straight away--and it didnt take her long to cover the cost of the same day service fee
Hi, We will need to apply for our FLR soon and I just have a very simple question: My wife's BRP expiration date is 19/10/2018. Does this mean we can apply for the FLR 28 days before this date? The weird thing is, I thought that you would have to apply for FLR after 2.5 years of the first visa being granted, but this date would make it 2 years and 9 months? Thoughts? Thanks a lot
If she came on spouse visa the first day you can apply is on the 30th month anniversary of her arrival in the UK minus 28 days. You don't work it out as 28 days before expiration because spouse visa is valid for 33 months.
Hi everyone, Happy new Year! I hope someone can help us. We’re on the mid of completing the requirements for our first FLR. I’m a bit confused with the Correspondence, do we need to submit those things and what kind of documents we can submit? Based on your experience @Brom27 @bigmac @katkatmachine Thanks for your reply.
search through the flr application form---it does explain it page 63: Insurance or National Health Service registration issued by the Department for Work and Pensions or a local health authority. If your application is as the partner of a settled person or person who is in the UK with refugee leave or humanitarian protection Six items of correspondence addressed to you and your partner at the same address as evidence that you have been living together since your last grant of leave in this category, or from the date you first started living together up to a maximum of two years. See Note 11. Note 11 The items of correspondence should be addressed to you jointly or in both your names. Examples of acceptable items are listed below. The documents provided must be originals. Photocopies are not acceptable. The dates of the items of correspondence should be spread evenly over the whole period you are relying on. They should be from at least 3 different sources. If you do not have enough items in your joint names, you may also provide items addressed to each of you individually if they show the same address for both of you. For example - Four items of correspondence in joint names to the same address and two items addressed to each partner at the address. In total eight items would need to be submitted. If you and your partner have no bills or correspondence in joint names, you will need to submit twelve items (six each) of correspondence, evidencing that you reside together at the same address. If you and your partner lived with relatives or friends for some or all of the period you are relying on, please provide a letter from the relative(s) and/or friend(s) confirming this. If you did not live together for any part of the period you are relying on, tell us the reasons for this and whether you stayed in contact with each other during this time, and provide any relevant supporting evidence. Please give an explanation on a separate sheet if you cannot provide six items; if the items are not addressed to both of you; or if they do not cover the period you are relying on.
Hello pipz! Just a quick question... I'm now on my 2nd flr(m) journey and I'm applying via premium service. How much does it cost exactly excluding IHS? I'm now confused after reading gov.uk website and forum posts... Thank you!
Hi I am planning to get married on the august of 2018, and is planning to a get fiance or ( family visa as a fiance) with your situation. In my understanding i do not need to reapply for a spouse visa (family visa as a spouse or partner) After i get married. Just flr? Iam planning to apply here in the uk for a fiance in march i am currently in the different category of visa.
You come to the UK with Fiancee visa (6 six months), get married then apply for FLR (m) before fiancee visa expires.
Hello everyone I need some advice please help me. I am in the UK holding a spouse visa and not that long I am applying FLR(M) I'm working my own salary reach the 18600 is it okay to used my own income since my husband doesn't have work?
Yes he does under private pension I think from his previous job long time ago but it won’t make it to get the 18600 as he got 120 pounds per month . Has anyone here same situation where they used their own?
