FLR (M) sent by post

    Finally we've sent my FLR (M) application by post,registered and recorded last hour yesterday and will be received by HO today .what a relief!
    Waiting time is on... and thanks everyone for the help.Your tips and reminders builds up our confidence at this .

    It's 5 weeks waiting . no news yet except for the BRP done a week after I submitted.
    Looks like it is patterned to be a 6 week releasing.Isn't it @Methersgate? :D

    Finally got it!
    Exactly 2 months waiting for FLR (M) sent by post is no bad at all.. saved us 500 quid ... it's brilliant, isn't it?
    Thank you guys for your help from the bottom of our hearts.

    I have never heard of anyone on the forum being declined. I think there is a much higher chance of the UKVI contacting you with any queries when applying inside the UK.

    If for example you cannot meet the financial requirement for the FLR(M) then you can shift to a ten year route FLR(FP) but it means more visa applications plus more NHS surcharge.

    It costs £811 for the postal application + the NHS surcharge (£500), this is for one applicant, an applicant applying with dependent child costs more.

    i paid £500 IHS surcharge for our 1st flr following our marriage. i understand the £600 surcharge is payable on a spouse visa because its for 33 months---so its slightly longer than the flr 30 months--and so attracts a further rip-off of £100.
