Hi all, I just need all your superior knowledge regarding visas. We're submitting my ILR visa however my FLR visa will expire in 2 weeks so we're slightly worried. Can you please confirm if my status will be on hold and I won't be kicked out of the country until I get my ILR application result and can I also continue working while waiting for the visa? Also, does anyone know if expediting the ILR process is possible and if it's worth it? Thank you all!
As long as your application is received by UKVI no later than the Expiry Date of your existing Visa/BRP you should be fine - but best not to leave it that late!
Your immigration status remains the same whilst you wait the decision of your application, to my mind it is pointless paying for a priority service.
