I would not call it classical ?

I would call it utterly stunning Celtic, Gaelic, Modern, Folk, with full orchestra and choir, yes extremely wonderful, I have never heard this before Sean and I am a lover of classical music, salamat sir, have you got more details without me searching google :D I want to be lazy :D

Oh..... the second one is lovely as well!!! Again folk but transformed by the performers! I'm half way through the second track now and the hairs on the back of my neck are standing up !!!!

    It's beautiful!

I'll correct my own post, it is classical but modern classical, a fine distinction as the rolling stones will soon be seen as classical music hence my reason for being pedantic :p

They are by a composer called Christopher Tin who is pretty much just starting out... Baba Yetu is a classic and performed by lots of music students in the states, not bad considering this guy was himself a student just a few years ago:like:

Bumpety bump... Seems Christopher Tin won two Grammy's for this album, as can be seen here and here.

Guess that might mean he won't be manually mailing out signed CDs to people buying them anymore:(

Well he made a copyright claim on the YouTube vids you linked to :(

I guess, that was his right to do as the person who uploaded that had also uploaded his entire album. He has his own YouTube channel up as well, calls it tinworks:like: Though, so far it has only a few versions of Baba Yetu.

Oh certainly he has the right, copyright is something that has been very dear to my heart as an amateur photographer :)
