Hello All, I am not quite sure weather to take the full-time job in the Royal Mail or not yet, At the moment I am doing 30hrs a week in Royal Mail in the afternoon and Im taking 250a week and another 30 hours a week as a breakfast chef and that makes 36K a year salary. But recently I was offered a full-time job in the Royal Mail in which I will be taking around 450 a week, its less than what Im getting now but MUCH LESS stress! The question is, shall I take the full-time now or wait until I apply for my wife's visa as it might affect the " 6 month salary wageslip continiously"? Because the Consul is asking for the 6 month payslips from the same job isnt? Although it will be the some job but different range of salary, Im not sure what to do please give us some advise!!!:(

Well If both jobs are kosher and none of them cash in hand, then you earn well in excess of what is required.

I would continue with the arrangement, at least until everything has been processed satisfactorily, and then, once the wife is here, get the full time position sorted....

    my two pence...

Good luck with whatever you decide.:like:

But the full-time one works out about 28k per year though...Still well above the requirement..:erm:

For now, personally I wouldn't upset the apple cart.......

There you go, you may have answered your own question....

I reckon that switching from part time to full time would not interfere with the continuous sequence of salary slips at all.

Both options would work, just remember either way you choose category B! Unless you get the full time job and sit on it for 6 months before applying.

Category B is for sponsors who cannot provide £1,550.00 each month from one salary, when you do other work, have a fluctuating income or move from one job to another category B is there for you to place yourself into an easy to work category for the ECO to work from.

However, category B sponsors must provide 12 months of income evidence in order to qualify!

If I cant find the complete set of payslips can I show them my bank statements instead?

I think (but will gladly defer to the experts!) that you are meant to provide both the pay slips and the bank statements, the reasoning being that they want to be sure that your pay really goes into your bank account (this sounds daft if you work for a normal outfit, but it makes sense when you consider that there will be some people who are faking everything).

In my case my HR department said they will happily give me a new set of payslips and a covering letter could be worth asking - HR people are human (sometimes!) ;)

I know that when I applied I had to supply both sets of docs but that was under the old rules. I had one missing payslip that I asked my employer to replicate and authenticate and missing bank statements that I had reissued and authenticated.

TT Week is nearly with us in the I of Man. The island will be overrun with bikes and bikers pretty soon. :D

Always best to provide the full 12 months so you limit the chance of a rejection.

The full details (and I do mean FULL) can be found here:eek:

Also, we have a house/mortgage (under our names)in PI, do we declare it to prove that our marriage is genuine, although it adds on to our monthly outgoings?. And finally I forgot to mention that one of my part-time jobs is paying me on an hourly basis, is that gonna be a problem? Thank you guys for taking your time in reading and giving advices, really much appreciated.
