I believe it, it's a lousy company, so who wouldn't try to take the mickey and kudos to the guy for managing to totally tee them off I hope it was real
Just so happened that my wife sold a gold bracelet a couple of weeks back to a similar/same company in our local town. It was 24k gold and really just far too soft to be practical. It would just get bent totally out of shape. So it just sat in the bottom of a drawer doing nothing. She got minimum scrap value. She bought something else that day but can't remember what.
