Hello, my girlfriend will come and stay in England for 2 weeks and she will require a general visa but she doesn't have enough saved money to show to the immigration. A sponsorship Form will allow me to show the money I have saved, how much money do I need and has anyone gone through the same situation able to give more information in their reply, thanks

Hello, Thank you for the confirmation, I am currently on a Visit Visa and with a British Partner staying here now in Basingstoke, gusto ko lang malaman if may possibility ba na ma extend ang visa ko para hinde na ako mag exit ng March 1, 2017. His religion is Muslim and weve met in Dubai 2 years ago and got engaged. I came here to plan for a Civil wedding and also looking for a long term job as well, is there any good opportunity working here for long term sana? Pls advice. Thank you

Hi @Ghelyu! I don't think you can extend your visitor visa maybe unless there is a compelling reason. I am now here on a further leave to remain visa and have rights to work but until now I haven't found any. If you want to be with your fiance permanently, follow the process. You can apply for a fiance visa when you go back to the Philippines.

Hi Ghelyu. Be aware that you cannot work here in the UK whilst you are on a visit visit. You will be jeopardising your visa. You will be able to work once you are married.

First things first and as previously stated you will have to go back home and start the process of fiancee or spousal visa.

There are pros and cons to whichever you decide to choose. The fiancee/spouse visa will take months to aquire and thats assuming you already have the necessary requirements for the visa.

Take a read around the forum on the visa process. If you have any questions after you have done some reading then we will be able to advise. Good luck.
