Good to see a new forum about the Philippines . (New to me) First went to the Philipines 5 years ago. had been chatting to a lady online and no wshe is my wife of 3 years, soon to be 4 as she keep reminding me. I'm originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland and my wife is from Bislig. We both now live in California. She came home with me to Belfast last year to finally meet my parents. My dad is 96 and lives at home and mum has severe dementia and resides in a nursing home. My wife loved it there, especially the food. She fell for Fish n' chips and managed to eat it 3 nights out of 5, walking up to the local chippy on her own and carrying the goods wrapped in newspaper. There was also the scotch eggs, sausages, bacon soda bread and barnbrack. All washed down with lucozade. Was a member of another forum before being banned by the over zealous admin and been looking for a more level headed ever since. Despite living here, it's refreshing to get back to normal discussions. Looking forward to talking about real football and news items and helping out where I can Thank you
Welcome freeheeler1690 What forum were you banned from before? Many of us here were on another forum before but the admin and his cronies didn't like straight talk. We have a nice forum here, hope you like it.
The infamous LIC forums Mind you, after seeing what happened to the owner, what he openly admitted to doing and why he had to leave the country I'm glad I have nothing more to do with it. Just suprised at some of those who stayed loyal to him and continue to work for him and said nothing. Good to see that most Brits left.
It was more like them not liking difference of opinons and general divergence of thought where race and religion was mentioned...
