Good morning. I just have a query. I'm marrying my fiancé in Manila next month but because I can only spend 12 days there, the marriage is being expedited. The reverend has requested I send a scan of my birth certificate at some point this month, before traveling and then will look at the hard copy certified birth certificate when I arrive there. Does anyone know why he needs to see a scan in advance?
Hello and here, BenB. Another sucker walking the plank , sorry, another man who has fallen for Filipina charms My wife and I had a civil wedding over there so I don't know about church weddings. I can only imagine that it will speed the process up as the marriage is being expedited. He will want to see the original to make sure it is a true document.
Thank you both for your replies. Yes, it's as I thought but thanks for the responses. Ours is a civil wedding too. She's a gorgeous person inside and out. Couldn't help but fall
Ben, I realise that you joined up a few years back and were welcomed back then, but it is good to see that your journey is ongoing and in a good direction, welcome back to the forum
