Greetings + Question on Timelines

I am Abbi and I'm engaged to my British boyfriend of 2 years. We have submitted our application for a fiance visa last Oct 18, so we are hoping to receive the decision soon. Wish us luck!

This website has been useful throughout our application preparation, and I'd like to extend our thanks to the admins and active users of this forum.

I'd like to know if there is a thread on this website about application processing timelines? I wondering how everyone's experience with the waiting game after passing in all documents went. I'm really hoping to celebrate Christmas with my fiance again this year, so you can imagine how anxious I am getting.

If the forum is anything to go off the processing times at the moment seem to be coming in at around 2 months but it could take up to three as you are probably already aware.

The thread below contains a few processing times, look at the later posts to get an idea.

The times given are WORKING DAYS. Submissions made in Cebu are faster than those made in Manila.

I am not sure how much prcessing times vary for each month of the year - @Micawber may be able to give information on that.

Thanks for the response @Timmers! Read the thread and it was very useful. It is good to read about how others have dealt with the wait. Patience is not my best trait but I guess there is not much I can do for now but stay hopeful! Lol. Wishing you a good day. Will keep everyone posted.

Thank you, @Howerd. I was wondering if there's a difference in processing periods depending on months, hopefully we make our target date despite the holidays fast approaching! Based on the website info and threads I may have about 10-15 calendar days to go before I get any word. This wait is excruciating!

You will just have to sit tight Abbi, most of us here know what you're going through.

You can look at the Government pages which gives you a rough idea how long the process takes but it wont make the decision come any quicker

I'm sure everything will be fine.

Just bank on the longest time then you won't be disappointed. Best of luck.

Ours was 35 working days and by the end of it were were practically climbing up the walls!
