    Hi everyone,
My name is Derek and I need a little bit of advice from you guys just to make sure me and my Filipino fiancé are on the right track to securing the UK fiancé visa.
We have been together now for nearly 3 years and I have visited her in the Philippines 3 times and we have also been to Bali twice over this period the most recent was in Oct this year.
We have lots of photos etc are in constant daily communication through medium such as Skype, FB messenger etc.
She has all the required paperwork at her end including her CENOMAR and is just waiting on the result of her UKVI IELTS exam.
I meet all of the financial and accommodation requirements here in the UK.

Is there anything else we need to consider for our application?

    Regards,

    Derek

    Hi Timmers,

    Thanks for replying so quickly.

I've done my research on this and have also read most of the threads on here in relation to the fiancé visa and as far as I can make out we more than meet the requirements.

I was just wondering if there was anything that anyone can think of that might be a useful addition to our application that we might have missed?

    Regards,

    Derek

Its all about the application, submitting the required paperwork for the UKVI, I'm sure you have seen lists of documents on the forum that members have submitted.

The application is not difficult, just takes a lot of running around amassing the documents and an eye for detail when filling in the forms.

If you have any specific questions relating to the application then just post and someone will answer your query.

I assume you fiancee has also taken the TB test and that arrangements are in hand for the CFO seminar?

    Hi Bigmac.

If you don't mind me asking what documents did you provide for your application?

    Howerd,

By TB test? I assume you mean tuberculosis?
And no arrangements as yet are in place for the commission of Filipinos overseas seminar. I wasn't aware that was a requirement?

Hello Braveheart65. Welcome aboard British Filipino.

The Tuberculosis (TB) screening is needed before submitting your application. The CFO seminar and sticker can be done AFTER you have received the decision on your visa. Though your fiancee can do the seminar anytime but cannot get the sticker until she gets the visa on it's validity date.

Hello Derek, welcome aboard British Filipino :welcome:

As a first step please review the UKVI webpage for settlement route visa's here:-
    https://www.gov.uk/join-family-in-uk/overview

It'll help you to get an informed idea of the needed evidential documentation much of which is mandatory.
