has something changed?

    Good morning all,
    So my girlfriend has retaken her English as the old one is not recognised anymore and we are just waiting for her IELTS result, at the test she met another pinay who mentioned a medical test? Now we are looking to get a fiancé visa and we know my gf needs the English test and a TB test but but medical test ?have we missed something or is this test for a different type of visa?

    No medical other than TB required. Maybe the other Pinay was destined for another country like the US maybe?

    I'm not aware of any other medical test apart from the TB test for UK immigration.

    Sometimes the TB screening is referred as medical exam. Or as what HaloHalo says, the other Pinay is applying to a different country.

    There are no changes announced in the recent new tranche of Immigration Rules effective from 19 November 2015
