To be honest, I am not quite sure where you can go skiing in Taiwan cause the weather here is rarely snowing. You can probably find an indoor one tho.
Does anyone know how much it might cost if I take taxi from Manchester airport to Newcastle under Lyme? Thanks.
Yes, I enjoyed my time in Taiwan. The people were friendly and very helpful. Like I said, I got lost several times so I had to ask several times how to get back to my hotel (I stayed at the Marco Polo). They were talking to me as if I'm a local. But sometimes they will speak so fast and they would ask me questions in return- small talk. That is when I get busted that I'm not Chinese/Taiwanese. I did try the night market, but I mostly just ate at the food stalls. I'll be frank, Hong Kong night market has cheaper goods. There are lots of Chinese in the UK. But from what I've heard, they're mostly from the Guangdong/Southern China. So Cantonese dialect. I reckon you would want your husband to learn Standard Mandarin/Putonghua first. I'm sure you'll find one there. Just talk to him in Chinese. Scold or curse at him in so when you're mad. He'll start learning soon enough. That's what my ex did.
