Hi to all, Just want to learn how's the life here in UK, as i just arrive 2 mths ago, and im still adjusting to everything... Regards, Jon
Hi Jon, welcome to British Filipino. Are there any questions bugging you? Or have you not settled in yet (got a job, new friends).
Thanks for the welcoming me guys .. I came here in UK to settle down with my husband which is a citizen here.. We got married last April in my hometown in PH, but after the wedding we were separated as I was working in Singapore and that was when i applied all necessary requirements to get a visa... Well, i'm just started to look for a job through website, but not immediately.. 'cause, we are quite busy for packing up the things to transfer to a new home, and i will also going back to PH by next month (i do feel homesick so my hubby allow me to go back for a while, hihi) I'm looking for some friends to talk, this is my first time joining a forum (well, when i was in SG i only join a filipino forum to look for some accommodation ads, not for networking or chatting.. ) Anythings you wanna know bout me, just send me a message.. Thanks!!
Hi Jon, Where in the UK are you? My husband and I are still in the Philippines but spend some of our time in London too.
In about 3-4 years time. Though we are aiming to buy a place in London before the year ends. Bedford is about 1.5hours away from London I think.
Networking already It takes time, meeting new people. But meeting people on forums like this will help you. Then you become FB friends and the rest should be history..
