Hey all I've just rejoined and I thought it's worth bringing you up to date with my experiences! In December 2016, I split with my fiancé, here in southampton. It was a difficult time.. my work contract had terminated and my best friend had been diagnosed with terminal cancer so she left. I asked for advice on this site and several gave me good advice. I reported her 'missing' and told the home office. For several months, she sent the most nastiest emails you can ever imagine.. it was horrible... She may be still here for all i know. It was a very disappointing 14 months together. Not gonna name names but it rhymes with Weasel. Then several months later I met Elaine and we have been engaged 4 months and she has just had her first visit to the UK... and will be back next month and in all honesty its been wonderful. Couldn't be happier.... back in Phills they have forums like this about how to get visas etc and our recent experience in getting her a visa was really easy. Elaine is a student so she had a letter from her Dean to say she had a college place to return to and although she has no income as such, it seems that was all she needed. I have a good job so there were no issues from my side and that obviously helps.... so its possible to get a tourist visa is my key point as long as your girl call can show she has a reason to return, you should be ok! My other point is that there are bad Pinays out there but there are also extremely good ones! Be prepared for both!!
