hey, I wasn't sure what section to post my question in. I am in the process of getting things ready to marry my fiance in the Philippines. However, we have reached a barrier. I changed my name a while ago due to falling out with my family. My fiance took my deed poll to the local Municipality to confirm we have all the requirements and they will accept the deed poll. They are saying they won't accept it and require me to change the name on my birth certificate to reflect my new name (this I know is impossible). If anyone can help that would be brilliant . If not I guess I'll be applying for a fiance visa for her. Thanks for your help.
