I applied for 3 months but ...uhm...now they've granted 6 months we might stretch it a little longer.

I am going out to the Philippines next week, then again July for our wedding, if all goes to plan.
Them comes the process of applying for spouse visa. Which with all the information found on this site, we will not be using an agency this time around.

My original request back in 2015 was for Jann to come over on tourist visa for a couple of weeks.
But like you we got a 6 month visa.
So we used it to the fullest and she came over a further 2 times during the 6 month period.
When our latest tourist visa was refused, this was brought up as an issue as to why Jann came over a further twice when we initially only asked for a couple of weeks trip. Although they did also say that no rules were broken as she had a 6 month multiple entry visa.
Seemed strange to me to even mention it on our reasons for the failed application.

You're right, they shouldn't even have brought it up as it wasn't an issue in the first instance. Each visa is supposedly granted upon its own merits and they should only mention were rules have been broken.
