    Rob to be honest it's no great secret that I struggled to get on with Keith and found that too many times people were ridiculed for no reason! Maybe the timing of our forum a few years back was just not the right time so I look forward to being a part of what is happening here!

    Yes I plan to though it's been so long since we went through the visa process and do not think I will be much help but always plenty of other things to chat about!

    Same here mate, the visa process has changed since we first applied in 2002. I have forgotten how we applied anyway.
    Age is not on my side. :eek:

    I remember when Elsa applied for her Spouse Visa back in early 2005 it was only £220-ish, but back then all applicants for visas to the UK had to attend an interview at the old British Embassy in Makati. I remember waiting outside for 5 hours in the 35 degree heat, and chatting with the armed forces guarding the building (they all thought I worked in the UK armed forces as I had very short hair :D ). I also remember the Embassy staff being really rude and unhelpful when I had a query. Those were the days. How its all changed for the better.
