not directly answering this--but my solicitor stamped and dated copy of my passport was 8 months "out of date " when we finally applied---because of the same reason --TB tests.

youre right about the visa app---thats why i'm a drunk.

Hello deanobeano and big mac and ALL.
I wasn't going to make any inquiries about this but now that you have both broached the subject i'm going to ask.
I am well off applying for her visa to join me as my wife as !. we haven't got her annulment yet. 2. We aren't married yet!
I have read all the necessary requirements that I will need to have in place when we are in a position to apply. Thankfully I meet everything that they are asking for as it stands currently. But.....
I work as a sheltered housing manager looking after elderly people within a sheltered complex. The issue I may have is that my apartment comes as part of the job.
It's spacious enough with 2 bedrooms, approx 70 square meters.
I pay no rent on this and therefore have no rent book. It is no problem me having a wife or girlfriend even living with me but how would I prove to the Visa people when the time does come that its 'suitable' have you come across anything similar in your times with this forum? Any advice would be much appreciated.

You will need a letter from your employer stating that you have accomadation and how many rooms, as part of your employment (tied house) and that your wife to be is permitted to reside with you :)

I have looked around about the inspection only been allowed for 12 weeks and only the companies that do them, say only valid for 12 weeks. There is nothing on the supporting documents saying it needs to be up-to-date and its is only an option.
