How long from being issued spouse visa can my wife remain in Phil?

We had our visa refused in August and today they reversed the decision. But my wife is not ready to come here yet as she has lots to sort again before she can leave.

Can she wait a few months or is it a straight away move?

Your wife will have a vignette on her passport which will be valid for one month, wherein she has to enter the UK within that time to get her BRP. If by any means she can't go on the said validity then you have to request to the UKVI for a vignette transfer which will cost £189. :)

If you wish to have the vignette transferred you need to go through the UK visa application portal again and apply for the Vignette Transfer.

Reason for visit-Type Of visit-Sub Type
the answer will be as follows:
    Other-Other-Vignette Transfer

Just follow the prompts, on the 'Other Information' state why you want a new vignette and your wifes new expected date of travel to the UK. She will give fresh biometrics and will attend her appointment at VFS and submit her passport.

The fee will be for £189 and if I'm not mistaken could take 2 weeks (maybe less or more).

I would say that will be your best option rather than your wife will travel to the UK now and get her BRP within 10 days and return to the Philippines to finish some unfinished business but it will be more costly to do that considering all the flights.

    Hope that helps :)

Hi , We talked to the Embassy, and they have left the visa open for my wife to submit her passport at anytime. will just need to pay the NHS surcharge and up to date TB test.

So we are waiting until July, and hopefully everything will be sorted out and my wife will be here
