Hi everyone. Can someone please help me out, can't find any info on Google. I sent my Girlfriend a parcel earlier today using royal mail. She lives in Quezon city in Manilla. Has anybody else used royal mail who can tell me how long the package would take to deliver to her? And who delivers the parcel if anybody when they drop it off in the Philippines? Or does she have to pick it up? I just really want her to get it before Christmas day. Royal mail says it takes 7 days to arrive. But I don't know how long it takes once it gets there thankyou.
I used to use Royal Mail sometimes - I am in Leyte - never had any problems with it - I think I used to be able to track it to Manilla with RoyalMail but after that I couldn't... but see below. Delivery times - surprisingly quick sometimes and surprisingly slow other times! Most of the time - I'd get it in three weeks - probably 2 from Manilla to here in Leyte. I recently started using Banggood - and discovered this tracking site for PHLPost https://tnt.phlpost.gov.ph/ It works for stuff from China and Singapore so might work for stuff from the UK too
Thankyou John. I feel better hearing that. Hopefully surprisingly quick in this case. I will bookmark that and see about using it in May for her birthday. I appreciate it
In addition to the above, it can also be delayed by customs depending on how much they like it and how much they think they can make out of it.
https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&s...mBLQQFggoMAI&usg=AOvVaw09mddnWcKKnnPwbr-9_ufN Try this link for tracking your parcel, I would give it 12 hours before you try so it gets it's first track status.
I sent a bracelet worth £130/9000 peso. Does this seem likely to get delayed? Assuming it is delayed, would they contact be or my girlfriend to say where to make the payment and pick it up? I used international signed. Thankyou.
I'm still confused about the whole process. Will my parcel be delivered to my girlfriend or will she have to pick it up at phil post? Thankyou. Sorry for all the questions. I'm just sort of worried.
It's likely to get permanently delayed - especially at Christmas! My local LBC courier will not accept jewellery. (full stop) I cannot remember the last time I didn't pay 112 peso for customs - don't know what it's for - whatever I order it's always 112 peso.
Depends on the office - they may deliver it - In my case I usually get a card telling me to pick it up from the post office as most parcels are kept in a secure part of the post office.
Your lucky it costs me 200 peso. Documents tend to get delivered to the house, all other parcels need collecting from my experience, this is so they can extract there 200 peso. Make sure you keep tracking the item.
