Hello all, my long term fiance currently residing in dubai for the past 11 years has an option to purchase a 3 year freelance visa in dubai, she can then apply for a visit visa to the uk lasting upto 6 months, how many times can she reasonably expect to be issued with this 6 month visa? (hopefully for all of the 3 yrs) many thanks
Remember, you can apply for a multiple entry visa if you wish, a bit more expensive than the standard 6 month visa but it may suit you better; https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor-visa/overview
Remember that a visit visa is not the easiest thing to obtain as I'm sure you're aware if you have perused this forum but give it a try, the basic 6 month visa is quite cheap at £87 compared with £330 for two years, £600 for five and so on.
best not to apply for a 6 month visit--just for the length of time required--a month say ? she will still get 6 months. once she gets one--and returns on time--more likely to get another. UKVI arent happy about repeat 6 month stayers coming over every year.
