    Hello Ungers. Im sad to say but it will be harder to get work in London than applying for Spousal visa. Your only way to get to the UK is via your husband. If your husband is British citizen and is employed earning more than £18,600 he will be able to get you to the UK.

    Thank you for your comment .. That is the problem of my husband we dont have a £18,600 and thats why he can't get me in to the U.k on a spouse visa and thats why im looking for work in london. That is the easiest way to get in to U.k with my husband or any sponsored work.

    Welcome to the forum young lady :)

    Is there any chance your husband could secure a second job to take him over the £18,600 financial requirement of the visa?

    What is your line of work by the way?

    Yes a difficult situation. As i say, your easiest route would be via your husband. Getting to the UK solely through employment is going to be difficult though not impossible. Sometimes workers are required in the UK for specific roles. Recently there was a recruitment drive conducted by NHS for nurses. In such a case there are still criteria that have to be met regarding those qualifications and English requirements. Is there any possibility that your husband can get a second job to meet the 18600 requirement?

    Before you can apply for any jobs in the UK you need permission to work in the UK either by having a working visa or having a residence permit gained through the settlement visa process.

    The easiest and quickest way for you to come to the UK is by the way of your British husband meeting the financial requirement so you can apply for a spouse visa.

    I don't think you are grasping the situation here, as the others have said unless you have a required occupation (nurse) there is no chance off you getting into the UK.

    The onus is on your Husband to meet the £18600 requirement to bring you to the UK.

    There is a route called the "surinder singh" route where your husband would have to go and reside in another EU country for a few months, ultimately it means you do not need to pass any financial thresholds. I don't know anything about the route myself but others on the forum do, I suggest you search the forum for threads relating to this route. Below is a simple idea of what the "surinder singh" route is;

    it would be helpful to you both if your husband joined the forum as well. you will both find lots of help and advice here to help you with your spouse visa application process--its the only way you can get to the UK to be with your husband.

    are you both aware of the savings rule to help you if his income is below the £18,

    Hi!
    I understand your situation. We've all been there. But may I kindly suggest to be careful in applying jobs online as most of them are fake or scam.

    I know it is very frustrating on both of you but just like most of the members have mention, the only easier way to come to the UK is to apply for a tourist visa, fiance or settlement.

    Maybe you could try to apply for a 6 months visit visa and start from there. I think it is not necessary to have £18, plus wages.
