He's a grandfather, and his grandson had an accident at school. Nothing funny about that, until he called his wife, on the way to the school to collect the grandson as their daughter is at work... He said, "Where are you now?" She replied ... (come on, we all know what she replied....) "Here!"
textings no better if I say "what time shall I meet you to go there?" HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT 15 TEXTS LATER i STILL DONT KNOW
i came to the conclusion several years back--that punctuality is a very flexible concept with my fiancee.
i ,as a matter of course say we need to leave at xx and have allowed half an hour which generally means we are only ten minuits late leaving
Something that niggles me about my wife, she takes forever to get ready to go out and it drives me nuts, the other week we were going to visit my mother and she was dawdling as usual, I ended up leaving her behind as I'd had enough, she moaned a bit when I reached home but I told her she had to change her ways and shake a leg She gets up each work day at 5am and she doesn't leave the house till 7, she takes an hour sometimes on the pot, takes her an hour to shower and dry her hair its bloody ridiculous, I'm out within 15 minutes of getting out of bed. Her sister did tell me that even by Filipino standards she takes forever to get ready. We do like a good moan from time to time
Yeah. I do that. Church service starts at 11:00am. We really need to leave by 10:30 latest. So I tell everyone to be ready by 10:15 and we are usually out by 10:25.
At 5am, I would imagine she is getting forty winks. Melody wakes up at stupid-o'clock too. I've told her that she is to wake me up at that time ONLY if she has set the apartment alight, can't control the fire, and flames are licking the end of the bed. Other than that, leave me to sleep until a less ridiculous time to wake up.
An hour on the pot is nothing. When I was younger, I was on the pot all weekend. But referring to it as 'pot' is probably also an age thing.
You naughty boy Chris.. Apologies to Andrew by the way for straying away from the thread a little but its never stopped us before
