Does anyone love this stuff as I do? Anywhere u know that makes it in the UK? Apart from the similar chinese version. Last time we were in the phils, there wasn't a magtatahô that went near our house. So the family went closer to the city to find one. I guaranteed him 50 pesos a day if he came to our house. So at 5.30 every morning he came and filled up my "sports direct" pint sized mug! I think the best tahô I've ever had was from a magtatahô right next to the Harbor View Restaurant at Manila Bay while watching the sun go down. Masarap!!! A memorable evening! By the way, that's a good restaurant to go to if you want a romantic evening with your mahal.
Hmm, love it too. Set aside. 5.Heat a saucepan then pour-in 1/2 cup of water. 6.Put-in 1 cup of brown sugar once the water starts to boil. Mix well and simmer for 1 minute. Set aside. 7.Transfer the extra soft tofu in a glass or mug then heat in a microwave oven for a minute. 8.Top the extra soft tofu with the cooked tapioca pearls and sweet syrup. 9.Serve warm. Ha ha thanks Micawber. Yes, I've seen them before (lol I sound like Cynthia Barker!). I was just looking for an excuse to go on a trip. I'm the sort of guy who'll do a 1200 mile round trip primarily so my wife can have langoustines at the Summer Isles Hotel in Achiltibuie!
Have you been? Right out on the coast in the middle (or the end) of nowhere but the food from the michelin star chef is fantastic. The fresh langoustines caught in front of the hotel in the delicate cream and white wine sauce are just...wow...oh and the mussels are pretty special too! Oh boy I'm tempted to fill up the car and go now! Ha ha
love taho too! very healthy stuff! everytime we hear the man scream 'tahooooo!!!' we scramble to look for coins and quickly run outside to buy some lol!
Been Philippines twice so far.. My mind was thinking of Lake Tahoe So whilst you are talking about food, I am thinking about a fishing.... Hmmmmmm
