If only they could have remained focussed after they went 1 goal up....

Clearly, Moyes and co. were all out of their league...
Evra's cock ups did contribute to at least 2 of Bayern's goals.........

At this rate, I doubt very much United will qualify for any European Competition next season.

Well, they tried, I guess they can take some comfort from reaching the latter stages of the competition although I don't believe it will help Moyes any in his quest to remain at Old Trafford. Ferguson was always going to be a hard act to follow.

Moyes has to go now! I don't think a single fan wants him at Old Trafford next season.

He's a weak manager, not up to the job.

I see Everton are doing better without him.
Maybe United should have gone for Roberto Martinez

It is no secret that Jose was approached by SAF, but as he had unfinished business at Chelsea he rightly said no thanks...

Kuya could not have known that Moyes would still be managing in the Premier League but he was right about him being at West Ham.
I think it is fair to say that if Kuya was with us, he would be surprised that "Dithering Dave" (my comment) is doing a reasonable job with the "Hammers".

I thought he was doing a good job at Everton. I was in the Preston NE ground a year or so ago and of course he was manager there too, before Everton.

I watched the game last night and West Ham parked the bus pretty effectively but were ineffective otherwise. All very negative and not like it used to be in the 60s / 70s. Fabianski excepting.

I remember a game towards the end of his time at Everton.
It was a game at Goodison Park and it was all square towards the end of the game.
He made a substitution and brought on a defender.
Most people in the crowd booed very loudly.
That was it for me, I couldn't wait to see the back of him.
    "Dithering Dave".

    He was after :

    Roberto Martinez
    David Unsworth
    Ronald Koeman
    David Unsworth
    Big Sam

    then

    Marco Silva
    Duncan Ferguson

So much wasted time waiting for a good manager like Carlo to come along......

Moyes at United was always going to be dammed if he did and dammed if he didn't.
Dammed if he did, had he kept fFergies backroom staff it would of been " fergie wouldn't do it this way" dammed if he didn't well he was always going to be accused of not relying on Fergies men by bringing in his own staff.
Moyes has been a good premiership manager but known got being a bit of a more passes man. This was one reason he failed at UTD he demanded a more passing team and in fact a caption on Wednesday night showed West ham had passed the ball over 500 times to Utds 200 plus.
No club with the exception of Liverpool's bootroom men have convincingly had a great succession plan after a sustained period of success.

Moyes's last match with United was at Goodison Park.
Those Evertonians can josh with the best of them
(Apparently "Paddy Power" put the Grim Reaper up to it).

One of the reasons that Evertonians dislike Moyes is that he made such a fuss over other clubs trying to poach players when he was at Goodison. When he went to United he immediately tried to poach Everton players and take them to Old Trafford. I doubt that most Evertonians will remember "Dithering Dave" fondly.
