Hi! Hope everyone is well and happy. I have another question again guys. Im currently here in UK in a tourist visa (thank you for all the advices and answering my question before) and will be going home this july. Our next plan with my fiancee when i get home is to apply for a fiancee visa, so i was just wondering if i have to apply first for a fiancee visa in the UK embassy and wait for their request for me to take the IELTS test and TB test or can i go through this examination and medical test before applying? and how long their validation will last? Thank you.
You have to apply for the settlement visa from the Philippines it cannot be done whilst you are in the UK. You can take the IELTS test while you are still in the UK if you wish, just Google for the nearest test centre. The TB test will have to be taken in Manila as it is the only one on the UKVI list. (cert lasts for six months)
The links below may help; https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...test-for-a-uk-visa-clinics-in-the-Philippines https://www.ielts.org/book-a-test/find-a-test-location Note that the UKVI does not request you to attend the TB or IELTS test centres it is part of the visa requirement and evidence of the positive tests are submitted with the visa application.
Thank you as always @Timmers Can i take the TB test without the request from the Embassy? Or i have to wait for them to request me?
Take a look at the link below, this will give you an idea of the visa requirements; http://www.british-filipino.com/ind...r-a-partner-spouse-visa-under-new-rules.5740/
Hi @glyzel! Send the TB center an email to set up an appointment. Don't phone them as you will just be annoyed and frustrated as they don't answer calls. They respond quite quickly via email though. Good luck on your application!
You're welcome! In case you need more info: For the UKTB testing, an appointment has to be scheduled prior to your arrival at the centre. This can be done by the following medium: ·Send SMS oGlobe: 0917-5934688 oSmart: 0919-9334667 ·Email us mhc.uk@iom.int
