So i was laying down and as your brain does it’s goes into hyper melt down with all the bad scenarios one of them is, “what if a document is missing.” Now if this happen would the immigration office on my case contact me to request it be sent to them or will they be like straight up denied? Also for people who’ve done the spouse visa has any of you been contacted by them and been asked question about your relationship or general questions?
For our recent fiancé visa application, I received an email quite quickly when the Appendix 2 had not been included in the first package I sent to Sheffield. I was given a week or so to sort it out. Eventually, all was approved. If it was a non-compulsory document that I failed to provide (such as sufficient payslips, bank statements, proof of relationship etc), I doubt very much I'd have heard anything about it until the application was (presumably) rejected.
I know it' a difficult time but try not to over think and worry. What is done is done wait and see. I am sure you have put together a comprehensive set of documents. If they feel the need to ask for further info they will. In terms of contact during the application about the relationship being genuine then to answer your question , no one contacted us. Good luck
