It is getting worse and worse, the Murder or homicide Rate WITH firearms has reached alarming stages in Germany, and not only caused by "Mass shootings".

The Reason isn't Terrorism or a change in Laws. No, its "availability".
The Balkan Wars and the Opening of the Iron Curtain in Particular has brought a "wave" of all kinds of Firearms into Western Europe.

Now we have AK47 and other hardcore war Weapons in "collectors" possessions.
( mostly the dubios kind of People...which were not even "allowed" to be drafted into the German Army )
Sidearms of all Calibers, Fully Automatic Rifles etc.

In September I was in Solingen/Germany and a Police raid in a nearby House brought a whole trunkload of Weapons into daylight. The "owne" a normal familymanwhosimplylikes firearms.
He bought them all during vacations in Eastern Europe for "very low prices".
It wasn't even mentioned in the news anymore, so often this happens.

What do you think, stricter Controls at the borders again ?
Surprose Checkpoints not only for Drunken drivers, but also "People Weapon Check" ? :erm:
