hi to everyone. we want to start putting in the paperworks visa application by end of july. but my fiance in the UK has only 5months payslip since he only got back to uk last february from 1 year sabbatical leave and stayed with me here in the phils. his annual income is more than the required figures. will there be any problem if his payslip is only for the last 5 months? also, he dont want to send me his original P60 and account statements original. told me that he dont trust the courier services. he will only send me the photocopy. your advices is highly appreciated. thanks
If, for some reason, he did lose his p60 and needed it for other purposes he can easily get another from his employer. Bank Account statements are also easy to re-order if ever needed. https://www.gov.uk/paye-forms-p45-p60-p11d/lost-paye-forms
That's butting it bluntly and it is correct! Give them five months and photocopies and the visa will be refused on the grounds of insufficient evidence of meeting the financial requirement. It is worth the wait of one more month to make sure you have it properly. If you get a refusal you waste 1000 quid on the application and have to reapply, which might take another 3 or 4 months after hearing the first refusal.
It would be foolish to apply with only five months payslips, you would leave them with at least one good reason to decline the visa. I do not understand why your loved one is reluctant to send his P60 and bank statements, DHL is fast and reliable. Remember that the bank statements need to be originals, or original copies (easy to order from the bank). If online statements are submitted then every one of the statements needs to be stamped by the bank (every page I think). Don't take any unnecessary risks with the visa application, you will just waste a lot of time and money as the posts above have stated.
Yes. When I sent my original birth certificate and divorce papers, I knew I could always get a duplicate, if I really needed to. And secure postage by DHL, TNT, FEDEX or any of the other carriers, is just that i.e. secure.
thank you so much for your replies. i will have this messages forwarded to my fiance. he is sending me his documents via registered mail.
Yes. You do this after you get your visa. You need it before leaving, and they put a certificate in your passport. I agree on using Royal Mail. Don't. You can't rely on that once it leaves the UK. Use a courier. You need lots of documents. It's not just financial ones. What else are you putting in? You need photos, evidence of relationship, evidence of where you will live, cover letters and so on. Make sure you get everything together properly or you won't get the visa.
your sponsors documents are likely to be at least 500 gramms---a DHL envelope will hold that amount--and cost about £40 to send. dont send by registered mail--the delay will add to your stress levels. from what you have asked so far-----i think youre still unsure about what you need to submit with your application. its vital you get it right. if you want to--write out a check list on here so we can all read it and make sure you have covered everything and missed nothing.
Should be 6 months payslip. You must stick to the requirements or your visa application will be rejected.

payslip must !! be 6 months of those--plus a letter from his employer confirming his job staus--is it permanent ? how long as he been there. also 6 months bank statements showing his salary paid in to correspond with that. you must show he earns the minimum of £18,600 per annum. this is essential. or is he self employed ?--if so--you need extra information about this.
we have certificate of employment. states there his job title, earnings per year and that he's been working there for 17 years as a regular employee. whew! we need to wait for another nearly 2 months to comply that 6mos. payslip.. due to his return from sabbatical leave. thanks xx
