Straightforward to apply for settlement : marriage for a fiancée..and settlement dependant child..for your child. Should get a decision in 3_4 months. Are you up to speed on the fees involved ?

Yes, they do seem to have juggled with the rules again. Please accept my apologies if I got your hopes up for a few minutes then. :(
Your best bet now is to apply for settlement visas for them both.

I did this for my two Filipino stepchildren, back in the 90s, and they have had British Citizenship for many years now.
You'll just need the income and suitable accommodation, for 3 people, rather than 2, assuming there are no complications with 'sole responsibility'. Good luck anyway.

I’ll book an appointment with an immigration advisor at my local citizens advice bureau.

On a slightly different theme, but related....
My wife called at CFO today.
They would not put the blue sticker on the expired vinegette spouse VISA.
Which was not a big issue for me.
They are in Manila for a Certificate of Entitlement process at VFS for my 3 month old daughter.
But at CFO today, they said that my wife needs to attend a CFO seminar for my daughter.
These things aren't big problems if you live in Manila or Cebu.
Does anyone know if this is true? Or can children just get the sticker?
Otherwise it's more dam hotels and plane flights for another blue sticker!

    Thanks in Advance
    Rob

After 4 years, and lots of people telling my that my son is not entitled to a british passport, including from people at HMPO, and here, I would like to to say that my Son’s passport finally arrived today. Good Job to my solicitor :)
