Kicking a ball about was Linekers role, not exactly a job that requires years of training,f*ck him and the rest of the “Oh,I have a platform to preach from” Lilly Allen types. The boat people won’t stop however, not till a hard line is taken, and no british government will take that step, the old UK culture is being eroded, give it another 20 years maybe.

Where will the thousand a day (on calm weather days)be detained?Who will detain them? When does it start? Its just words, nothing more, till it’s implemented.

Seems like he's another one who's lost touch with what the ordinary working people of the UK want.

It's all very well for our elite to live in their ivory towers and make rules and decisions that ruin ordinary peoples lives and their country because their wealth insulates them from any of the unpleasant consequences.

And if he thinks young Albino men, basically economic migrants, are the most vulnerable in society he needs to wake up.

I previously suggested converting old oil tankers to floating hostels - sort of repatriation centres.

Unless drastic action takes place, and the news of this filters to the people who are facilitating these migrants, it will never end.
    Madness.

If the BBC don't sack him they will be seen as a laughing stock.

He'll be self employed - so probably have to wait till his contract expires or something.

This just about sums it up: Mrs Braverman told the Commons the need for reform of the asylum system is "obvious and is urgent".

The Home Secretary said many of the people who have arrived on small boats came "from safe countries like Albania", and that "almost all passed through France", with "the vast majority" being adult males under 40 "rich enough to pay criminal gangs thousands of pounds for passage"

She said: "Upon arrival, most are accommodated in hotels across the country, costing the British taxpayer around £6 million a day.

The good thing is he's either too rich, too proud or too stupid to admit it was a stupid analogy and apologise for being wrong so he'll be getting his p45 soon :D

Got back to UK yesterday, turned on the TV this morning and "How surprising" (not) most people according to a poll (as if we need a poll to realise this) want something done about the ever increasing numbers of chancers crossing the Channel to fill UK hotels at taxpayers expense, I am surprised nay amazed that we arent building more nice hotels to house the invaders (yes..... INVADERS).

300 illegal immigrants crossed the channel in 2018,45000 in 2022,how many in 2023?Anyone thinking this isn't an invasion must be living in another land, cloud cuckoo land maybe, or are out of touch with how Joe public feels about the problem (and problem it is).
