That acutally not a bad idea. I must admit i very rarely look at the full price flexible tickets due to their high price but its definately wirth looking at for next time, cheers. Out of interest does anyone know how long it takes to process this 13A visa and its cost?

It's the 'Non-Quota Immigrant Visa' detailed on this page Stu http://philembassy-uk.org/consular_VISARequirements.html

Prices are on that page I think.

Back in the days when the fully flex ticket was only 800 or 900 pounds I bought the fully flex ticket fairly often because of the full quota of air miles it attracted, in those days I got several special offer Business flights as well for only 1200 pounds when the standard price was about 1500 return.

After the Business fare jumped to 2200 round about the start of 2008 that was the end of paid business flights for me :), I stopped buying them and a couple of times did the outbound trip as a miles upgrade on fully flex and went for a cheaper economy return, those tended to be the ones they upgraded me on the return leg :)

The best ever though was the one I posted about at Christmas last year when I was going out on a Miles Promo 20,000 miles for the outbound journey and they offered the 200 Euro paid upgrade, probably the last time I will travel at the front of the bus :)

However I must say my last trip was very comfortable and pleasant at the back of the bus, well middle really, they won't stick me in the really bad seats till I lose Silver status I guess :D
