I make it Thursday that you will be off to get a tan, oops sorry, get hitched :vhappy: Don't forget the camera for the piccies to show us
Lucky, lucky man. I wish I was going out there. I hope all goes well for you and you have a fantastic time. You can send a piece of cake if you wish, I like the corner bits (there's more icing!)
Saw him today at Florge's daughter's Baptism, he's ready and full of beans. Friday is only around the corner........... have a nice journey,mate........
Thanks guys I fly out this coming Thursday, land Friday morning about 9.30am in Manila. So I kind of have a busy week this week.. Joy is already at the condo in Manila waiting for me... :vhappy: I will be posting pictures on here on a hopefully regular basis, blogging it out..
Si. Buen viaje y buena suerte (Safe journey and good luck.....in Spanish) Best wishes for your wedding day. Keep us informed. Have a great trip and stay safe
Now I'm not so sure if that not too great feeling in my stomach is butterflies or my anti malaria tablets..... :vhappy:
Wimp :vhappy: Lots of guys I worked with in Asia for years swore that Gin & Tonic was better and I followed suit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinine Mindyou I think everyone was drunk a lot of the time I tried once like Jim, and yes, never again.
Never taken the tabs myself and probably never will, I think I'd rather run the risk than deal with the side effects. I'm of the same mind as Mr Shark - plenty of gin!! Did get dengue several years ago that nearly killed me but theres not alot you can do about that.
Well he's probably still awake, I doubt he will get any sleep tonight Good luck Sean, enjoy every minute, don't forget the pasalubong for Joy and family in Manila, the two of you can get that together for family in the south when you head down there And have a good flight mate, it's a long one but it's worth it
Oh, I'm not going to bed! Not risking the chance of over sleeping... Besides, if I need to sleep, I can do so on the flight
Don't sleep through dinner, they serve it about 90 to 120 minutes into the flight and the KLM food is quite nice for airline food, in general the beef dishes are usually safer than the chicken as chicken that has been stored for a long time at high temperature tends to taste very bland, but watch others around you carefully as it might be good and I have had some good chicken dishes from KLM as well. They will serve ice cream and other things at night and you can always go pick up snacks at the galley and pester them for more booze if you are so inclined during the night they will probably serve noodles, it's a pot noodle and much better than anything we get as a pot noodle the UK, very savoury, spicy and full of flavour, worth having. About 1 hour 15 minutes before landing, i.e. just over Hong Kong or just past Hong Kong if they go via that great circle, they will serve breakfast, I like the savoury cooked breakfast, scrambled eggs and so on. Again Sean all the best to you and to Joy, have a great time together and take care good sir!
Good Luck Kuya - hope you make it to the church on time! A good idea is charge all your old mobile/cordless phones and set the alarm on each and every one!
