Sorry to hear about your kindle. Mines been a god send with work etc. Got my missus one she's not put it down, which I'm pleased about as she's greatly reduced the amount of tv she's watching.

Does anyone have have author recommendations thinking about it. Maybe a list of authors and their genre.

My favourite author is Ken Follett - don't know if you've tried him Stu. He writes historical fiction and his knowledge is staggeringly accurate!
