That time of the year is here again, and some of us, cannot fail to please the Asawa and drive her to that great gathering of pinoys In Hounslow. This year we are taking some friends with us, and actually have booked rooms for the saturday night, so that we can enjoy the evening entertainment, as in the previous years, we did travel back home on the saturday afternoon, missing the best bits apparently, and me having to put up with a bit of a mood.... The hotel is on the park itself, so, after a hearty breakfast, we will move the proceedings over to the main lawn, open the folding chairs, the pic-nic rug, a few refrigerated cans of cider, and try to enjoy the athmosphere building up as the day unfolds. Normally by 3 pm, there will only be standing room, so if one has a sort of pitch clearly marked, then there won't be any need for border controls.... There will be a police presence, as per usual, a total waste of time and taxpayers money, if you ask me.... As there is never, ever any disturbance whatsoever. When will the "elf and safty" gurus understand that it is a gathering of families and friends, and not a footie match??? Anyway, the point of this post and thread is to try to find out who is coming, and where to meet for a chinwag if anyone is... :wave::grouphug: Ok, folks, please let us know...
