It may sound crazy for you guys, but this idea just came to my mind when I was thinking about my girl. (Or maybe it was inside of me from long time but hidden very deep as something impossible to do.) Maybe I am thinking too much, but what can you do ............... that's how the love works. ;)
It would be very nice and romantic to spend a few days in totally deserted island like the Robinson Crusoe did with just two of us. Just me and her. Nothing else. No TV, no computers, no Internet and no any noises. And my girl liked this idea too. So if I like it and she like it, it looks like it will be another dream waiting to happen. ;)
Philippines have over 7000 islands and I am sure there's a lot of deserted ones. Maybe you know one good enough to recommend ? :)

Not for a foreigners for sure. :p
As far as I know foreigners are not allowed to buy any land in Philippines. :)

There are a number of uninhabited islands in the archipelago including a couple or so off the east coast of Cebu - ie between Cebu and Bohol. But they are uninhabited for good reasons - lack of fresh drinking water, lack of elevation so prone to being flooded or even submerged in bad weather and so on. Several are between Mindanao and Sabah and you really do not want to be in that area under any circumstances!

There is a real estate agency specialising in private islands and I know they do have several (20 or so) located in the Philippines. When I happened upon this company's web site a few years ago, starting prices were in the order of £5 to £6 million. You are correct in stating that a foreigner can not own land but his Filipino wife can but she will never own 100% of that island as the government owns the foreshore of every island.

But I don't want to buy any. ;)
I am just saying about romantic trip and stay. Like 2 day or more. I think maximum 4 days. It shouldn't be a problem if there is no drinking water. I can always take a few bottles with me. I think 2L pre person per day should be enough. I can take a food as well. It's just for a short time. ;)

Right now I just think about it that it is a nice thing to do.
Thanks for a tip. I will check that park. :)
But what consider me is, isn't it a crowded place ? After all it is a national park so that's mean plenty of people. :)

I have not been. I would like to visit. Some are more quieter than others, I believe. You may find them a good compromise. See what some of the others think.
