    Yes, he was brilliant in Fawlty Towers.

    As funny today as when it first came out.

    Yes I enjoyed Fawlty Towers so much and he was a big part of that. Can anyone think of any other plays, series he was in?

    He did a short stint in Coronation Street a couple of years back, to be honest that's the only place I've seen him outside Faulty Towers but I expect he has been treading the boards etc.

    i hope i never forget FT and manuel

    back in the 70's i got the first rented video recorder on the i o wight. i recorded all the 2 FT series on 2 three hour vhs tapes. my daughter watched them so much it wore the recordings out. she knew them off by heart. i hope she didnt know what "flowery **** " meant.
