Sadly, after a long ilnness, Andrew Sachs, of Fawlty Towers fame, has passed away. R.I.P. He really made me laugh at my old profession, and helped me understand not to take customers and employers too seriously, but be myself. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/video_and_audio/headlines/38174747
Yes I enjoyed Fawlty Towers so much and he was a big part of that. Can anyone think of any other plays, series he was in? RIP to a true talent.
He did a short stint in Coronation Street a couple of years back, to be honest that's the only place I've seen him outside Faulty Towers but I expect he has been treading the boards etc.
i hope i never forget FT and manuel back in the 70's i got the first rented video recorder on the i o wight. i recorded all the 2 FT series on 2 three hour vhs tapes. my daughter watched them so much it wore the recordings out. she knew them off by heart. i hope she didnt know what "flowery **** " meant. edited--ha ha--the site censor software strikes--****
