hi i got my visa today .. and i applied for fiance visa.. i noticed my type of visa is marriage visa is it the name they put not fiance visa? thanks in advance ... :vhappy:
My wife's says Spouse Visa and hers was indeed a Spouse Visa. I am afraid that I dont know what it ought to say for a Fiancee type visa. I was told that the UKBA do occasionally make mistakes with the actual visa stamp itself. I had someone check my wifes visa once it was issued.
Check this website for you to understand the difference between fiancee and marriage visa. They deal with USA (K1-visa), UK, Canada, Australia, Europe or Scandinavia countries. http://udonvisa.com/fiancee_visa.html http://www.udonvisa.com/marriage_visa.html Maybe something went wrong or mistakes when they are processing your visa. If you travel to UK with a wrong visa you may have a problem when you arrive here. Call the British Embassy and clarify it with them what visa you should really have in hand and what is the difference between fiancee and marriage visa. Good luck! I had spouse visa when I first came to UK.
Nothing to worry about. That is in fact the Fiancee Visa you have been issued. I guess it's Mult (Multiple Entry) Marriage That's how most of the Fiancee Visa are printed these days.
Hello guys in new here im kim from thephilippines married to my british partner here in uk Just wanna ask if after i got my temporary visa can i go to school ? Geta job? And apply for a GP? I Will be happy with ur response guys thank u
Hi Kim. Where are you now, are you in the UK or Philippines? And which visa are you seeking? What do you mean by "temporary visa"?
Hello im in the uk now on southampton im applying to my next visa which is was said the temporary leave to remain
Do you mean temporary visa as in a spouse/partner visa? If so, then yes you can study, work and register for NHS services.
Yes i came in as fiance visa and did get married sep 14 so then next visa is temporary leave to remain sothis means do all of that? After temporay visa
Ah yes, You mean Further Leave to Remain (FLR(M)) as partner. That will be issued to you as valid for 30 months. Shortly before the expiry you'll need to apply for a second period of 30 months again under FLR(M) Once you have been granted FLR you'll be free to work / study etc but still be under conditions of 'no recourse to public funds' Yes of course you can register with a GP. That is one of the very first and important actions needed as soon as you arrive in UK. There's no need to wait for granting of FLR(M) Try to register with a dentist also.
