    Hello everyone,

i am wondering why a CENOMAR is not in the list of documents to apply for marriage visit visa? which in my knowledge this is a proof stating a person has not contracted any marriage,or has never been married.

do i need CENOMAR in UK when i get married?

No. Cenomar is a Philippines document only. It is not needed in the UK.

The reason it's not in the list is because the list and the forms are for every nation and the cenomar is a Philippine document. I agree that it would make sense to have it and if I was you I would include it anyways.

If you have one then there's no harm including it, but I wouldn't go out of your way to get one if you don't already have it.

We never had one. I enquired about it with the visa agency at the time and they said it's not needed.

My now wife has never had one and has never needed it.

The only time you need to prove you are free to marry is if you have been married before. Then you need divorce certificate.
