    Oh sorry...:D
Just confused about minor travel clearance, the local dswd/ social worker hir in phils said travel clearance is only needed for minor travelling or GOING OUT PHils without any of his parents...so filipino minor coming back or arriving to phils doesnt need any travel clearnce at all if he is not coming back to phils with his parents but with his aunt only...!?!?!?

Mymy - Airlines have special arrangements (usually at no extra charge) for "un-accompanied minors" - I recommend that you check with the airline of your choice - they will normally arrange for ground staff and hostesses to take care of the child and they will certainly know the regulations.

If he is travelling-out with one of his parents but returning with a relative, that relative will very likely require a notarised letter of authority in order for the child to travel. That notarised authority should be prepared in the country from which he is returning to the Philippines.

If you are travelling with your minor child, you would still need a DSWD clearance where the father signs the form.

If your child is travelling to the Philippines without his parents, might be best to check with DSWD what form would be best to present to the immigration officers abroad.

Oh sorry i forgot to tell u guys that im a single mom, and father is not on the BC...i've checked the DSWD office twice and they keep on telling me that ONLY minor filipino going out of the country W/O any of his parents needed a clearance...but if a minor filipino travelling w/o neither parents coming back or arriving in phils there will not be any issue with the immig. thanks :like:
