Hi someone suggested to try to meet filipino's online as I am very home sick. My wife and soon are back at our home in Luzon as I am unable to meet the requirements to bring my wife here. I live and work at a restaurant in the essex country side near Chelmsford and I have not seen a filipino in months. I have lived in Philippines over the past 5 years. I'm working temporally and go home to my wife and son in January. Just looking to see who is out there. I would love to meet a local Philippine family play tong it's and chat.
    Regards Paul

I don't have the £62,500 cash savings and cannot find a permanent job for the required amount. Have had to go back to chef work after 15 years so I can save to get back to Philippines.

Hey Paul, I can somehow relate to you. Anyway, I just arrived last month as well here in UK. I'm currently living in Chelmsford. And yeah I started to feel being homesick now and I am looking as well for filipino friends around me. It's good to find this site.

    Hi chelo,
Thank you for your reply. I have been in the uk for 6 months working and actually go home to my family for a few months in a couple of days. It's been hard but worth the hard work. I will return to chelmsford in April next year. I will contact you when I return if you are still here for a chat. Stay strong for your family.
    Best wishes
    Paul

Yes, we have learnt, over time, to make sacrifices for our nearest and dearest, Long Distance Relationships can be real heart breakers.
immigration rules don't help at all, but exacerbate the feeling of hopelessness that sooner or later surface, regardless of one's positive outlooks on the future.
