    Hello Everyone:)

I would like to share my good news. My application for EEA Family Permit got approved last April 4, and got the passport stamped and other documents (Apr. 10), after waiting for about 6 weeks.

Thank you so much to the people in this forum, who have been great and helpful giving tips, concerns and ideas regarding visa application.

From the bottom of my heart:cheer: Thank you so much.:like:

    Kind regards!

    Congratulations..!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done...!!!!!!!!!

Don't forget that from the date of issue, you have six months in which to apply for a 5 year residence card. :like:

    That is very good news!

The EEA Family permit is not an option for me but may be for some members of this forum; I am sure they would be interested in learning more on how you managed to get the permit.

    Sir,

Do I need to apply as soon as I arrive? or I can do it later...within 6 mos (time frame) validity of my visa?I will be travelling with my husband on June 21, as we have plan...Is the office in Croydon? Correct me if Im wrong.Thanks.

I wouldn't make any traveling plans at all, as Croydon will ask for both Passports, and keep them for a while, or until everything is processed, and it "could take" up to six months....:like:

So, ideally, you should apply after two/three months of arrival, to avoid dispruptions. Or plan differently about traveling..
