Don't worry. You're not alone. Been a couple of times, but it's just nothing really. I wouldn't choose it. I also always wonder how many different urine samples are on their sauce bottles.

We prefer Chinese food any day.

My wife says that when her sister visited she was really excited when they went to Nandos and wished they had it in Germany, where she lives.

I take it that every Nandos is essentially the same in its menu?

There is only so much you can do with a bit of chicken, I think Nandos rely on their sauces to claim its special.

I mean geographically, presumably the one in Lands End will serve the same menu as the one in John O Groats?

Actually if you think of the gamut of asian chicken dishes, there is rather a lot you can do with a bit of chicken :)

But having only ever tried Nando's once and that was last Christmas in Glasgow, I would have to say it was not that special, nice enough though.

You're right, both Indian and Chinese rely heavily on chicken dishes, its a cheap meat that satisfies the palate of the common man :)

Nandos is very marginally better than KFC but twice the price. I always try to persuade the asawa towards KFC but it always ends up being Nandos. Maybe the sauce and the fact it's grilled/barbecue makes it more appealing to her.

    Yes. You are probably right.

Filipinas here tend to flock to KFC. My wife goes with the toddler almost weekly now. :D

But I think thats partly down to the missing of Filipino food and restaurants that they are used to back home. If you see what I mean. I usually refuse KFC. :D

Yep makes sense. I see a Nandos franchise opportunity in IOM John ;)

Yes and no. The island population isnt quite big enough except during TT week to justify opening such an outlet and also they have strong protectionist policies here, for example no Starbucks on the island - only Costa coffee. No Asda or Sainsbury or Morrison and only a Tesco.

Ahh good for the IOM protecting local interests, I like that. Makes a change from a high street full of pound shops and all the generic stores just on the outside of town type of scenario.

Ah, we have a £1.20 shop. :D Where everything that costs a pound in the UK costs £1.20 here in our outlet.

I guess that's island life. Ah we have a 99p shop, causes havoc on the £1 stores sales :D

Gone and dunnit. Went to Nando's.

The wife said its the way they grill the chicken that she likes.

It was packed to the rafters again. I have had better, but Mrs Ash likes it.
