hello everyone, I really need advice in behalf of my friend. She’s going to apply for flrm and have some concern about how many months she stay in the uk.

First of all, her visa will expired next month March 15,she arrived in the uk 15th of October 2015 but her visa granted about july 2015. She didn’t come to uk immediately.

Now her concern is about the months you have to stay on uk it says you have to stay for 30 months.

Can she apply this month or wait next month March in the 1st week?

    Thank you guys

err--just lets clarify this--did she come here on a settlement-spouse visa ? did it not have a 30 day travel vignette ? or did she get it changed ?

I’m sorry she came her with her 2 daughter’s for spouse visa. What she told me the agency who processed their documents said if they got the visa any month within that year they would travel here in uk. She told they’re saving money for plane tickets for the 3 of them.

her Visa will expired on March 2017, if she waits for 33 months it will be June. Thank you anyways for the reply. Maybe she needs to contact the immigration about it.
    Thank you

    Just for clarification please,

Is 2 and half years counting since you arrived in the uk or when they grant your visa?

    Thank you

As you say she needs to complete 30 months. 30 months in the UK would mean her visa expiring on 30th April so she is short by a few weeks. If she is short of the 60 months she technically should have to apply for another flr to complete the 60 month requirement. I know she will only be short by weeks but Im not sure how UKVI will view the shortfall.

She arrived here October 2015. And her visa expired next month March 2017. Ohh dear it would be a problem then. They only have 29 month but if they apply March it would be perfect for 30 months maybe.

She needs to apply before expiry. So she will not have completed 30 months.

Yes fingers crossed. Maybe the shorfall can be dealt with prior to ILR. Please keep us posted on her progress.
