Anyone bother to have their marriage certificate authenticated by the NSO or DFA? Mrs seems to think we need it but its a brand new certificate just issued, surely its on record already?

NSO Certificates do have a limited life from the date of issue. However yours is freshly issued and you just need to submit it to UKBA along with the rest of your paperwork. You do not need to get it authenticated by DFA or anyone else.

If its from the NSO then it is fine.

The original certificate that was issued after the wedding wasnt enough, seemingly. We waited a few weeks for the NSO version. We asked for several copies by the way. Very useful to have.
