Migrating as what, exactly? OFW? Spouse?

Migrate with my wife and maybe have my first child there.
But maybe I need to get a job first before going there.
Do you think this is much safer?

Very hard to impossible, I'm afraid. Britain is a member of the European Union and since circa 2004 employers have been prevented from recruiting non-EU citizens unless the potential migrant has exceptional skills in an area for which there is a shortage. However the onus is on the future employer to prove that he has advertised the post extensively and is unable to fill a critical post from within Britain or the EU. In practice this means that unless you have, for example, developed a proven cure for Cancer, your chances of becoming employed there are, I'm sad to say, nil.

However, should you be fortunate enough to be in possession of skills required in the UK and an employer is able to sponsor you, that visa would (almost certainly) apply to you alone.

What is your background and qualifications / work experience?

There are exceptions. There is a skills shortage list that you might fit into.

So sad =((. Never thought that it would be hard as you describe it. We know someone there, shes my sister-in-law. Accommodations is not a problem but I guess the chance of having a visa is low, huh? Thanks for the info though. Ill try my luck still.
